Anita Shahdad was born in England and began her commercial real estate career in airport management at London-Gatwick airport in 1977. After moving to the US in 1987, and starting a family, she returned to the commercial real estate world in 1996. After working for one of the oldest Charlotte firms, she then joined CB Commercial where she worked closely alongside Jay Chambers. After a few years out on her own, running her own property management company, she joined The Chambers Group in 2001. Anita has two sons, the oldest is a freshman at Wingate University and the youngest is a sophomore at South Mecklenburg High School. Anita is licensed in North and South Carolina.
